2020 MSCA Fall Conference-Virtual!

Greetings Michigan School Counselors,
We are excited to announce the MSCA Board has decided to transition this year’s annual Fall Conference to a virtual platform. This is being done out of an abundance of caution, given the issues related to the current COVID-19 pandemic. It would be difficult for us to currently host an in-person conference at the Lansing Convention Center in mid-November…but we hope to return there in November 2021!
This being said, we are officially launching MSCA Online…a Virtual Experience, and hope you will choose to join us virtually on Monday, November 16! We will be offering a great lineup of both live and pre-recorded sessions.
IMPORTANT NOTES: If you have already registered for the in-person conference that was scheduled for the Lansing Convention Center from November 16-17, you will be automatically registered by NCYI (our conference managers) for the online event. You or your school district will receive a refund for the difference in the price you paid and the online rate. Also, if you had a reservation in our conference block at the Lansing Radisson Hotel, it will automatically be cancelled for you. However, you may want to check to make sure this has been done.
Thank you to our Sponsor US ARMY SR ROTC!
Here is more good news, you will still be able to earn the same number of State Continuing Education Clock Hours (SCECHs)  by joining us for MSCA Online, as you would have had you joined us at the in-person conference. Details will be provided on the on-line platform.
We hope to see many of you virtually on November 16!
Your friends at MSCA
