Registration is now open for the Spring Conference, offering a series of informative sessions designed for educators, school counselors, and students to explore various educational opportunities and career pathways. One session will introduce a program that provides schools with free mental health training and resources, aimed at improving student well-being and academic success. Another session will compare the ROTC program to traditional military pathways, highlighting how it can help students fund their education while developing leadership skills. A presentation will also cover a university’s unique co-op education model, demonstrating how it prepares students for successful careers in STEM fields. Additionally, a session will explore a program that aligns with state educational goals, expanding Career & Technical Education (CTE) opportunities and integrating academic and social-emotional learning. Another presentation will provide valuable insights into preparing for a STEM curriculum at a top university. The conference will conclude with a breakout session that offers further guidance on career pathways and educational resources. Attendees can earn up to 1 SCECH credit per session (1 military + 1 General + 2 College + 2 Career = 6 School Counselor SCECHs available), making it an excellent opportunity to gain knowledge and support student development.
