A professional membership includes anyone engaged in school guidance and counseling or related activities  


An affiliate membership includes those interested in school guidance and counseling, not eligible for other types of membership


Includes anyone retired from the school counseling profession


A student membership includes anyone enrolled in an approved graduate program in school guidance and counseling

The Michigan School Counselor Association seeks to strengthen the identity and competencies of professional school counselors so every student in the state of Michigan will have access to a comprehensive school counseling program that is uniquely designed to meet individual needs and maximize readiness for post-secondary success.
