2026 CLAY SCHOLARSHIP

Congratulations, Faith Crosby!

Faith Crosby is an educator at Cody High School in Detroit and an emerging school counselor whose commitment to students is rooted in supporting the whole child. After four years teaching English Language Arts in Detroit Public Schools Community District, Faith recognized that many of her students' needs extended far beyond academics and was inspired to pursue a career in school counseling.

Through her graduate studies and counseling experiences, Faith has demonstrated exceptional empathy, cultural humility, leadership, and a strong commitment to advocacy. She brings her experience as a classroom teacher to her work as a counselor, with a focus on helping students succeed academically, prepare for their futures, and develop socially and emotionally.

Faith will complete her school counseling internship during the 2026–2027 academic year as she continues working toward becoming a professional school counselor. MSCA is proud to recognize Faith as the 2026 Clay Scholarship recipient and support the next chapter of her work with Michigan students.
