ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

Executive Cabinet Structure

MSCA utilizes an executive cabinet to make decisions about the direction of the organization. Organizational activities are carried out by committees.

Members can run for open cabinet positions each year. Nominations begin at the annual fall conference and continue through the first half of the school year. Elections take place in the spring, when members can vote for the nominees.

Once elected, positions rotate each year as indicated by the arrows in the flow chart.

Standing Committees

Three standing committees work throughout the year to plan and carry out activities based on the organizational goals established by the cabinet.

Committee chairs host meetings, typically virtually, with MSCA members who would like to participate in the planning or execution of the work. Committee meetings are open to all MSCA members by request.
